Residence permit in Bulgaria, Representative office, investing

A Foreign National may get a permanent residence in Bulgaria in one of the following cases:

- is an appointed representatives of foreign companies with registered Representative office in Bulgaria;

- has invested 600 000 BGN or more in a Bulgarian property;

- performs commercial activity as a result of which 10 jobs are maintained;

- has invested 500 000 BGN in the capital of a Bulgarian company providing 10 jobs;

- has invested 250 000 BGN in the capital of a Bulgarian company providing 5 jobs in disadvantaged regions;

ACQUIRING BULGARIAN CITIZENSHIP IN 5 YEARS:

- can qualify a foreigner who has been a permanent resident for 5 years;

- the applicant must not have been convicted for committing a common intentional crime by a Bulgarian court;

- has sufficient income or an occupation providing sufficient income;

- has sufficient knowledge of Bulgarian language;

ACQUIRING BULGARIAN CITIZENSHIP IN 1 YEAR:

- can qualify a foreigner who has invested 2 000 000 BGN in bonds or shares in the Bulgarian regulated stock market throughout the period of 1 year following the date of acquiring permanent residence;

- can qualify a foreigner who has invested 1 000 000 BGN in bonds or shares in the Bulgarian regulated stock market throughout the period of 1 year following the date of acquiring permanent residence;

- the applicant must not have been convicted for committing a common intentional crime by a Bulgarian court;
